    Hi Joe,

I am interested in BANS but I’m mostly clueless on getting hosting and the like.

I do see that I can get hosting for $4-5 a site per month but to really make money with BANS a person needs many sites which would be over a $100 month. And this would have to be spent before the sites started making money, correct?

So I watch this video and you through up a couple of sites and forget about them and the make generate a little bit of income but aren’t they costing you money overall once you pay hosting? If so you really would not want to do a 100 of these minimalist sites as your hosting bill would be a huge drain.

So if I did it I would certainly add content and try to drive traffic but I’m worried that my hosting bills would eat up my bank account before money started rolling in.

One off-topic question: If I started a bunch of related auctions and then started a BANS site that pointed to those auctions would EBAY still pay me the commissions?

    Thank you,

    Warren

PS don’t add this e-mail to your list as I am already on the list, thanks.

    Hey Warren,

You can have unlimited domains with most hosting companies. Hostgator has a plan for $7.95/month, and you can addon as many domains as you’d like. So even if you only had a few dozen sites that made a few bucks a month, that can add up to a substantial profit. Although, if you do purchase a domain that’s $1-7 up front for the year. But you can also just use subdomains on semi-related sites.

I’m not really advocating doing it this way anyway. I’m just proving the point that even with the absolute least amount of effort, sites can be profitable. Any time you actually put into developing the site will certainly pay off in the long run.

And yes, you can earn commissions pointing at your own auctions. Actually, I think eBay even has a widget to promote your own ebay store.

    Joe,

    Thank you for the reply.

As to what you are not advocating that would be using sub-domains, correct? Not using one Host to for many domains.

    Hi Joe,

Your EPN earnings are $6,022 since April.

How much did you spend on PPC?

    Hey Matt,

I’ve been running at about 60% profit margin after advertising expenses.

    Joe,
How is the website updated after the auction ends ? Also,do you also build the site from scratch or just sell the software ?
    Thanks.

    Hey Aj,

That’s the great part! The site updates with current auctions every time your page is loaded. It’s always completely dynamic.

The software is what builds the site. You just install it on your server and it gives you a great, graphical interface to set it up. Really easy to work with.

    Hope this helps!
    Joe
